Walk-the-Runway Guest Models

Walk the runway as one of our American Girl Fashion Show® Guest Models! Your American Girl can join the fun on stage during intermission! For an additional $25 donation to the Junior League of Manatee County, she can walk the runway modeling this year's American Girl Fashion Show souvenir T-shirt, which is hers to keep, while carrying her favorite doll. Guest Models will be introduced to the audience by a celebrity host! Simply click here for this year's application. Once we receive a completed application via email, you will receive a link for payment.

Due to the show schedule, a limited number of 15 girls per show will be able to walk the runway as a Guest Model.

(Must purchase a Fashion Show ticket to attend the event!)

Happy Messages

Post a happy message in the program! Every girl will be thrilled to see her own special message in the 2015 American Girl Fashion Show Program Book! There are two options available. You can post a happy message for a $10 donation, or you can include a photo of your child with a happy message for a $25 donation.

The Junior League of Manatee County is searching for local teen girls (Junior or Senior in High School) to volunteer as teen commentators for the American Girl Fashion Show. Teen commentators play a very visible and important part of the show because they maintain the pace, momentum, and excitement of the program. The show takes place on a theatrical stage with lights, and in front of a large audience. It is essential that teen commentators are comfortable and enthusiastic while reading a lengthy script onstage. The script should be rehearsed, however memorization is not required. Being a teen commentator qualifies for community service hours.

A total of six commentators are needed, two commentators per show, for three shows.  Applications are due by January 24th, 2015 and potential commentators will be notified by email on February 1st . The script will be provided in an email. Auditions will be held Saturday, February 7th. Commentators will be required to attend a dress rehearsal on Friday, March 6th, and must be able to participate in 1 show on March 7th. The School District of Manatee County is not affiliated with this event.
