President's Fall Update

Our members are dedicated to the needs of this community and it continues to show in all we do.  Some wonderful outreaches have been initiated this fall, such as the incentives in the third grade classrooms of Orange Ridge-Bullock Elementary, our mentoring at the Foster Girls' group home, the Get Your Fit On! health awareness event, and donations to Hope Family Services, One Stop Center, and others.  

Sharing time with our members and getting to know other nonprofit organizations with like-minded compassion fills me with gratitude. As we continue our community commitments, our upcoming fundraisers now come into greater focus. The events of Beertopia and American Girl Fashion Show provide much of the resources that allow us to make an impact.    

I am continually impressed by the steadfastness of our JLMC chairs and their committees in planning and executing these fundraisers and community projects.  The combined efforts of our league, its community partners, and all those that support us is the cornerstone our success.  I wish everyone a wonderful and blessed holiday season!
